The Doggfather himself graces the Warzone once again.
As the 50th anniversary of hip-hop and rap rolls in, Call of Duty has a special gift for fans as Snoop Dogg returns to the field.
This isn’t the first time the hip-hop icon has worked with the popular FPS franchise. He started out as a voice pack back in 2014 in Call of Duty: Ghosts. After this, he then became a full-fledged operator skin last year in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Operator skins don’t just have the style and likeness of their characters — they also come with custom gear to tie everything together.
Now, Snoop Dogg is making it back to Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with a fresh look in time for their 50th-anniversary celebrations! He also has some friends with him, as joining him are Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage, icons who have made massive waves in the hip-hop scene.
Nicki Minaj previously worked with Call of Duty last year in a promo for Modern Warfare 2. This is the first time that 21 Savage is working together with the series. We only have a teaser of what his operator looks like but there’s no doubt it’ll be suitably savage.
If that’s not enough, Call of Duty is also giving away hip-hop-themed War Tracks that you can play as you’re cruising through the battlefield in your armored vehicle. Each one represents a different era of hip-hop and can be easily obtained for free by just logging into the game.
It’s a good thing that fans and players don’t have to wait long. Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, and 21 Savage will be in the latest Call of Duty battlepass coming out on August 2.
