Consistency is the key to victory for every team.
TNC has a long road ahead of them this MPL PH S16, as they’re currently trailing behind even the middle-of-the-pack teams. Their schedule isn’t looking any better, so they’re truly in for a trial by fire in the coming weeks.
Win or lose, however, coach Patric “E2MAX” Caidic’s main focus is seeing the team improve — and their number one priority is keeping their gameplay consistent, no matter the opponent.
“Yung goal namin is linisin yung laro namin every game,” said TNC’s coach E2MAX told the media. “And ang mindset namin is na kahit kaya namin gawin yung ganung performance, hindi dapat pwede yun umangat sa ulo kasi may bigger teams pa rin kakalabanin namin.”
Gold Laner Frederic “Bennyqt” Gonzales echoed the coach’s thoughts. “Mindset namin is maging consistent lagi kasi even matapat namin yung top teams, as long as nasa ganong form kami alam namin na papalag kami.”
Coach E2MAX is confident that TNC can achieve that level of consistency, as their team chemistry is already there.
“Walang naiiwan, walang mag-isa. Parehas talaga yung ugali. Pagdating sa esports malaking bagay talaga yun. Kasi pag kaya niyo mag-usap about things outside the game, sobrang confident niyo mag-usap sa isa’t-isa. Dagdag sa tiwala.”
In the end, it looks like TNC has a lot of work to do before they see improvement. It remains to be seen how long that’ll take, but as long as they trust the process, they’ll hopefully find success soon.
“Kailangan lang namin mag-focus sa ginagawa namin at hindi sa results,” said TNC’s coach E2MAX . “Kasi yung results, lalabas din yan pag nagawa namin ang dapat namin gawin.”
