We’re only a few weeks away from crowning another VALORANT world champion.
The stage is set in Paris, France, as 16 of the best VALORANT teams from around the world converge for VALORANT Champions 2025. Starting September 12, four of the best teams from each region will duke it out for three weeks to see who is worthy of becoming a world champion.

VALORANT Champions 2025 is sticking with its tried and tested format, with every team starting in the group stage. The 16 participating teams are divided into four groups, with every group having one team from each region. Every match is a best-of-three, double-elimination, with the top two of each group moving on to the playoffs.
From there, it’s a double-elimination bracket, still sticking with best-of-three matches. The lower and grand finals will be a best-of-five, and at the end of it all, we’ll have our next VALORANT world champion.

VALORANT Champions 2025 is going to be a very crucial event for the four major regions. Besides being the most important tournament of the year, it might also finally give us an idea of which one of the four regions is truly the most dominant in VALORANT.

Three of the four major regions have won a Champions in the past, with the Americas winning two. Even then, those two world championships are divided between North America and Latin America. Only the Pacific remains trophyles, and with the Pacific winning the last three Masters events, it might finally be their time to bring home a world championship.
