Bianca Pagdanganan Celebrates Homecoming with Malbon Philippines

As 2025 drew to a close, pro golfer Bianca Pagdanganan came home to spend time with her loved ones and her Malbon family.

One of the Philippines’ most accomplished professional golfers and a Malbon global ambassador, Bianca Pagdanganan returned to Manila for a special one-day visit with Malbon Philippines—celebrating her roots while continuing to bridge golf, culture, and lifestyle.

The day began with an early morning shoot at the historic Intramuros Golf Course, a symbolic setting for Bianca’s homecoming. The shoot highlighted the intersection of sport and heritage, with Bianca wearing Malbon Manila apparel as she moved through the course, set against some of the city’s most iconic backdrops.

Bianca then arrived at the Malbon flagship store at Shangri-La The Fort, where she was warmly welcomed by the Malbon Philippines team, Malbon Ambassadors, and Buckets Club members for an intimate meet and greet. The visit offered guests a rare opportunity to connect with Bianca and gain insight into her journey as a professional golfer.

Bianca took time out to talk about her LPGA campaign and what lies ahead.

So looking back, how would you assess your 2025 LPGA campaign?

If I’m keeping it real, honestly it wasn’t my best season. It wasn’t my best year and it can be a little frustrating. I’m somewhat relieved that the year’s over.

I can look back and really kind of pinpoint things that I have to work on, what I have to focus on. But yeah, it was a tough year and I think you have to go through it. Like everyone goes through tough times and it’s just a matter of how you bounce back from that.

So yeah, I think that’s like an honest assessment. I can’t sugarcoat it and I can’t say that it was a great year because it didn’t feel like it was. It didn’t feel like the game was there.

But again, it’s okay and there are a couple things that we can learn from it moving forward.

As you turn the page to 2026, what goals or plans are you setting for the season ahead?

Like I said, 2025 wasn’t the best year. But also, it didn’t seem like I enjoyed what I was doing because it just felt like I wasn’t playing the golf that I wanted.

So the goal for next year is to kind of bring back a childlike self and just enjoy competing and enjoy playing tournaments and just enjoying what I’m doing. Because I think I get too caught up in my own head that I lose track of what I actually have to do. I know I should be able to list down the exact goals that I have.

But I think this is the most important one, that I have to kind of start with and just remember my why. And again, enjoy what I’m doing and just remind myself that I am living my dream.

During the offseason, which areas of your game are you most focused on refining or improving?

Again, I guess shorter distances, striking distance, trying to give myself a lot more opportunities when I’m out there playing.

I think my ball striking this year has improved and I think it’s always been a strength of mine. So just trying to get myself to hit it closer and then striking distance. And of course, the most important part of your game, putting, which I feel like I try to work on every year anyway.

But again, every year it’s a learning process. But there’s nowhere to go but up. I guess it sounds really simple, but it’s the simple things that I feel like take the most work.

And away from the course, how did you spend the holiday?

Spending the Christmas with family in New Year’s Eve, we went to the beach. Kind of step away from the sport and just give myself time to reset. And again, be with family. I’m away from them most of the year.

So just being able to come home and spend a lot of time with them means a lot to me. And I guess it’s also like a great reminder of why I do what I do and that I will always have a family that supports me, whether I’ve had a great day on the golf course or a not so great day on the golf course.
