It was a night of glitz and glamour as another batch of rookies awaited their names to be called in the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft. 

A night of new beginnings at the Novotel Araneta Manila also became a night of glamour as the next batch of volleyball talents showed up in their best looks for the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft

With that being said, here are some of our top looks from this year’s draft, where rookies were glammed up for the evening ceremony. 

Lams Lamina

Former National University star Lams Lamina stunned in a gold dress that was elevated by a white fur shawl — perfect for the volleyball ace who was picked first-overall by the Galeries Tower Highrisers in this year’s PVL Rookie Draft.

Barbie Jamili

Spiker Barbie Jamili could have been the star of the night with her elegant silver dress, a look that was complemented by her natural charisma. The former Adamson stalwart is now headed to Creamline as the eighth-overall selection.

Detdet Pepito

Away from her usual look on the court, Detdet Pepito dazzled in this brown dress that was accentuated by a thin gold cloth by the skirt area — a likely tribute to her time as a UST Golden Tigresses. That gold accent served as a foreshadowing, as Pepito was picked second-overall by Capital1 in this year’s PVL Rookie Draft. 

Joan Monares

Similar to Jamili, Joan Monares looked sophisticated in a silver dress that was elevated with a matching silver scarf that flowed nicely. Without a doubt, Monares was one of many rookies that captured the audiences’ attention when this year’s draft class made their way to the red carpet.

Jonna Perdido

Sometimes, less is more, as seen with UST’s Jonna Perdido. While most applicants wore shining and shimmering pieces, Perdido stood out in a black evening dress that she rocked effortlessly on her way to being selected by Farm Fresh.
