Whether as a recreational or competitive sport, pickleball continues to gain traction locally, with over 900 courts and nearly 400 clubs recognized by the Philippine Pickleball Federation (PPF).
As another testament to this growth, even vacation spots such as resorts and parks around the country have begun integrating pickleball into their offerings, giving both locals and tourists an added reason to visit.
So if you’re planning a staycation, here are five spots where you can continue (or even begin) your pickleball journey.
Batis Aramin Resort and Hotel
Located in Lucban, Quezon, Batis Aramin houses Pickleball Paradise. Described as a “U.S.-standard pickleball destination”, Pickleball Paradise has three courts available, along with a mini-bar for post-game drinks.
Staycation packages, along with a three-hour open play session, are also available for guests.
Timberland Highlands Resort
All the way in Tanay, Rizal, is the Timberland Highlands Resort, which now includes the newly-opened Pickleball Camp. There’s also an active community in the area, with the Timberland Pickleball Club hosting camps and demo events at the venue.

Even the popular Pico De Loro Beach and Country Club has brought into the hype, as their indoor courts include a dedicated pickleball facility. Rates start at PhP155 per hour for members, which goes up to PhP165 per hour during the peak season. Non-member rates range from PhP270 per hour during lean months, to PhP330 per hour during the peak season.
The venue also hosted its first pickleball open tournament in July last year, and its follow-up tournament could be worth looking into this year.
Subic Bay Yacht Club
Who would have thought that a yacht club has a pickleball court, right? Well, that’s the case for the Subic Yacht Club, which opened its dedicated facility in December 2024. Open from 7am-10pm daily, you can inquire about rates on their social media pages here.
Like Pico de Loro, the yacht club also hosts tournaments, including their Holy Week special last April 2 and 3, which was opened to residents of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and Zambales.
Paraiso de Avedad
Last but not least is Paraiso de Avedad in San Pablo, Laguna, with the basketball courts now doubling as pickleball courts. Might as well play a game or two if you plan to experience the quiet calm and nature-themed vibes of this tourist spot in the South.
