7 Fun Runs and Marathons in the Philippines to Join for 2026!
Here are some fun runs and marathons that Filipino runners might want to sign up for 2026.
As the running era continues to unfold in the Philippines, more and more events continue to pop up on the daily. Some are your traditional marathons that encourage discipline, while others are fun runs that present unique ways to enjoy the running life.
Whether you’re a causal or serious runner, here are some running events happening around the Philippines that you can join in 2026!
Santé Barley Trilogy Run Asia
With a format built for discipline and long-term progress, the Santé Barley Trilogy Run is back for another round. Starting this March, a series of races will be held across five cities — Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro — with a chance to run in the national finals this November 8 in Manila.
Only those who complete the “trilogy” of 16km, 21km, and 32km will be eligible for the national finals. Still, that’s not to discourage beginner runners, as there are also options to complete in a series of 5km and/or 10km races across the three legs. One thing’s for sure, and that’s the Trilogy Run Asia being a place for runners looking to up their game.
Baguio Marathon
Happening this March 8, the Baguio Marathon provides a unique way to experience the beloved City of Pines — from the trademark mountain breeze, to seeing Baguio’s iconic landscapes while chasing the runner’s high.
Runners of all levels are welcome for the Baguio Run, as five categories (5km, 12km, 21km, 42km) have been made available by organizers Team Malaya.
Doraemon Run
Even animated series have found their way into fun runs, with the One Piece Run and Minions Run being organized last year by RUNRIO. This time around, they’re bringing the famed Doraemon Run to Manila following stops in Singapore and Indonesia.
Inspired by the anime series of the same name, the Doraemon run takes place this February 15 at the SM Mall of Asia complex, with four race categories (1km, 3km, 5km, 10km) being offered. Given Doraemon’s place in our childhood, this is sure to be a run filled with fun and a hint of nostalgia.
FCC Women’s Run PH
As a celebration of International Women’s Day, the FCC Women’s Run PH is set to take place this March 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay, and is set to offer a wider range of categories for its participants.
A basic 1km serves as the shortest route for the Women’s Run, which is followed by the usual 5km, 10km, and 16km. Both 10km and 16km distances can also be run with a buddy, according to the official website.
HOKA Midnight Run Asia
The HOKA Midnight Run Asia continues its neon-themed runs as a way to celebrate movement, culture, and urban spirit. From three cities in 2025, the Midnight Run will expand to six cities (Davao, Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, and Clark), with runs taking place between May to November this year. Race categories, meanwhile, will be split between 5km, 10km, and 21km.
Siargao Ultramarathon
For those looking for a challenge, while enjoying a memorable vacation, then the Siargao Ultramarathon this June 14 might be an event to consider.
Unlike most running events on this list, the Siargao Ultramarathon only offers three categories, headlined a 50km route that starts in Cloud 9 Surfing Area, and ends in the Pacifico Beach. Should the 50km be too much, runners can consider joining 25km and 10km distances instead.
The Music Run Manila
Last but not the least is the Music Run Manila this February 28 in Filinvest City, Alabang. As the name suggests, music will be a central theme for this event, where participants will be guided through a “fully immersive audio adventure” in their run.
Categories for this one are split between 5km and 10km, which should be perfect for beginner and casual runners.
