The Oklahoma City Thunder are your 2025 NBA champions after closing out the Indiana Pacers, 103-91, in Game 7 of the Finals on Monday morning (Philippine time) at the Paycom Center.
The Thunder turned on the afterburners by the second half, carving out a massive 22-point advantage midway through the fourth quarter to snag their first NBA title since relocating to Oklahoma City in 2008.
Finals MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dazzled in the closeout effort with 25 points and 12 assists, followed by co-stars Jalen Williams with 20 markers, four rebounds, and two steals, and Chet Holmgren with 18 points, eight boards, and a whopping five blocks.
Pascal Siakam and TJ McConnell led the Pacers with 16 points apiece as they tried to manage without star Tyrese Haliburton, who went down with a right leg injury early into the first quarter.

As mentioned, Shai capped off his sensational 2024-25 season with a Finals MVP plum, while Chet recorded the most blocks in Game 7 history with his five rejections.
Indiana received the same amount of love from the NBA community, given their inspriring 2025 playoffs run headlined by giant-slaying upsets en route to the Finals. The Pacers were just as resilient in their title bout against the Thunder, and were just as deserving to bring home a Larry O’Brien trophy back to Indianapolis.
