More than the individual awards, Trisha Tubu vows to continue Farm Fresh’s rise in the Premier Volleyball League.

Trisha Tubu admitted that winning a Most Valuable Player award was the furthest thing from her mind.

This, even after she bested stars like Erika Santos, Vanie Gandler, and Brooke Van Sickle to take home Season MVP in the 2nd Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night on Saturday at the Novotel Araneta in Quezon City.

Now on her third year in the PVL, Tubu has blossomed into the Foxies’ superstar — a status backed up by five Best Opposite Spiker awards before being voted as this year’s MVP.

Last season was a turning point for Tubu, whose offensive brilliance allowed Farm Fresh to enter the playoffs in the PVL on Tour, which was followed by a top-seed finish in the Reinforced Conference, and a breakthrough Final Four appearance in the 2026 All-Filipino Conference.

With an MVP award in her trophy case, Tubu is well-aware of the challenge to match, or even surpass the heights she has reached for the next PVL season.

And nasa likod din po niyan is ‘yung hard work ko lalong tataas.”

As she continues to raise the bar, Tubu is determined to reach a personal goal for the Foxies: a long-awaited place on the PVL podium.
