It may not look like it but Aurora has a lot of work that needs to be done this season.
It seems like there’s a lot of readjustments needed for Aurora’s Demonkite and crew for the MPL PH S16 as they’re already starting the season on the backfoot. They’ve already lost their opening match with Team Falcons and their schedule isn’t getting any easier.
At a glance, there’s a bit of disconnect between the team and their new Roamer Dylan “Light” Catipon. One would think that this would be mitigated since Jungler Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto was teammates with Light back when they were both in RSG Philippines but that’s not the case.

That puts Aurora in a really tough spot as they’re still working through the shakeup of losing Roamer and shotcaller Renejay Barcase during the offseason. It just goes to show that the movement between players and teams is not as plug-and-play as it sounds.
But hope is not lost for Aurora and Demonkite as the team is confident in their ability to work things out throughout the season.
“Pag nakuha namin yung tamang timpla ng team, kaya namin mag-compete sa top one to three ng MPL.”
