The Creamline Cool Smashers are champions of the PVL once again.
Now that was a closeout to remember.
The Creamline Cool Smashers are once again champions, emerging victorious in a 25-22, 22-25, 25-16, 16-25, 15-11 slugfest against the Cignal Super Spikers in Game 2 of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.
Creamline now takes home their 11th PVL title, which caps off their road to redemption after a tough stretch — one where their streak of 19-straight podiums was halted to end the year.
It was Bernadeth Pons who showed the way for the Cool Smashers, punching in a triple-double of 22 points, 25 digs, and 15 receptions en route to a Finals MVP plum. Tots Carlos also showed up big time for the league darlings, as she added 18 points, including the final two markers that sealed the Cool Smashers’ redemption bid.
Vanie Gandler, meanwhile, went down swinging for Cignal with 28 points, 14 digs, and 15 receptions, followed by Erika Santos with 21.
