Team Liquid’s Coach SN4P gets his vindication after two years filled with struggles.

Coach Allec “SN4P” Alvarado has proven himself in a big way in MPL PH Season 17 after leading Team Liquid to their third straight championship.

There were doubts around Coach SN4P joining the team considering his less than stellar record with Omega Esports. In the past two years, he’s made it to the playoffs once which resulted in an early play-ins exit. But anyone who’s worked or talked with Coach SN4P knows just how much he pours himself into his work. It took a while but the results are finally reflecting that.

“I’d say this is good karma,” said Coach SN4P to The GAME. “I’ve been working so hard for the past two years, finally it’s paying off.”

A lot has to go right to make a championship team. Players and coaches aren’t just plug and play.

One could say that being in Team Liquid helped the coach immensely this season. After all, what kind of coach wouldn’t dream of coaching this star-studded lineup? Turns out that would be Coach SN4P as he admitted that he didn’t expect to be part of Team Liquid in the first place.

“I wanted to join ONIC PH, Team Falcons, and Aurora Gaming. But suddenly [Team Liquid Team Manager Mitch Liwanag] messaged me and asked if I wanted to try out. I didn’t expect that I’d get this far.”

It may not have been his first choice, but it’s clear that Coach SN4P was an amazing fit for the team. He gives full credit to his players for making his life easy as their coach and he can see the potential in them to go even further beyond. A good thing too, as he and this same Team Liquid lineup will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming 2026 Asian Games.
