It’s About Making the Most Out of Every Opportunity for Aurora’s Edward

By Ramon Domingo - February 11, 2026

Mr. Consistent stays consistent because he knows that it’s a privilege to be a pro.

It’s a known fact that the Philippines has the best MLBB pro players in the world but even then, Aurora’s Edward Dapadap manages to stand out among the elite. He’s the Filipino player with the most M-Series World Championship appearances, totaling to five, which earned him the nickname ‘Mr. Consistent.’

And with Mr. Consistent winning M7, he’s now part of an exclusive club of two-time world champions, joining Team Falcons’ Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel and Team Liquid’s Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno.

Siguro naging special siya sa akin kasi napahanay ako kay Karl and Pheww,” said Aurora’s Edward when asked if his second world championship is special to him.

It can’t be understated how impressive it is that Edward has managed to make it to every M-Series in his career, save for one during his debut year in 2020. The softspoken EXP Laner often says that he just goes with the flow, like that’s the secret to his consistency. But winning his second world championship has helped him realize something about his own motivations.

Ayaw ko sayangin yung opportunity na to,” Edward said. So ima-maximize ko talaga.

The New GOAT?

Looking ahead, Aurora Gaming PH are eyeing more championships in the future. It’s funny to think that as an organization, Aurora‘s first and only tournament win is the M7 World Championship. But that’s exactly why they’re preparing to fill that trophy cabinet up.

For Edward, he finds the thought of possibly completing the Golden Road motivating as Team Liquid failed to do it. If he achieves this, it could possibly position him as the new MLBB GOAT. That’s something that fans are already arguing about, but that debate is of no concern of his.
