It’s all about dishing out big damage to find success in the Mid Lane.
Season 40 of Mobile Legends is a bit of a wild one for Mid Laners due to the recent patch, but M7 World Champion Yue of Aurora Gaming PH has got you covered. He shares his top three favorite heroes to climb the ranked ladder this season and they all highlight one thing: controlling the early game with damage means controlling the rest of the game to a win.
1. Zhuxin
“’Yung naging patch [ni Zhuxin], kala mo nerf pero parang naging buff,” explained Aurora Gaming’s Yue. “Pinalakas kasi ‘yung damage ng bagsak.”
Mages in general did get changes that increased their late game scaling but Zhuxin sidesteps that. Her usefulness has always been her ability to control large areas with her Skill 2 and that hasn’t changed. Now it just hurts more when you get thrown around like a ragdoll.
2. Valentina
“Pinalakas ‘yung damage ng first skill niya,” said Aurora Gaming’s Yue. “Which is bagay para sa early game.”
Valentina’s Skill 1 was already quite the powerful nuke but they pushed that even further this patch. Sure, it scales a bit worse now but that’s fine when you’re chunking people down in early teamfights. Her survivability did take a hit so she at least needs to play more carefully around her opponents.
3. Pharsa
“Si Pharsa, hindi siya nagalaw so neutral lang siya,” said Aurora Gaming’s Yue.
He’s a little mistaken here as Pharsa did get an early game damage nerf. But then again, it’s really a slap on the wrist as the Wings of Vengeance still hits like a truck no matter the phase of the game. That means she remains a solid pick no matter how the meta shakes out.
