Coach Moody Sees a Championship Calibre Team in Team Falcons

By Ramon Domingo - April 27, 2026

It seems that the Falcons have found their wings again this season.

Team Falcons ends the first half of MPL PH Season 17 on a five-match win streak thanks to the efforts of their coaches such as Coach Mohammed “Moody” Samal.

Joining the team during the tailend of their disastrous Season 16 run last year, Coach Moody has integrated himself very well into Team Falcons. He helped bring stability to a team that everyone had already counted out of playoffs contention. Now that he’s had more time with them, he’s really managed to bring out the potential of the team.

“I take this all as a challenge,” said Team Falcons’ Coach Moody to The GAME. “Kase as someone who’s very competitive din, I challenge myself on what I can do to help the team. And kung feelings lang ang pinaguusapan natin, sobrang masaya ako sa kanila. Hindi lang sila mga players ko, parang mga anak ko na din sila. Sobrang masaya sila kasama but at the same time sobrang open sila for improvement everyday.”

According to Coach Moody, Team Falcons was able to move past their tough previous season because of two things. The first was team discussions that centered around learning to be more transparent with one another. The other was the return of Coach Francis “Ducky” Glindro and Coach Vrendon “Vren” Pesebre.

“I don’t want to judge my past experiences in esports, but this has so far been my best experience working as a coach,” said Team Facons’ Coach Moody. “We [the coaches] have designated jobs and roles sa team and that really helps when it comes to our workloads.”

All of that has culminated into an impressive first half of the season. And looking forward, Coach Moody can already see that Team Falcons is ready to fight for the championship.

“Confident ako diyan,” said the coach. “You have to manifest it para mangyari.
