When in doubt, remember that solo queue means you gotta solo carry.
It’s a new ranked season for MLBB and it’s clear for TNC Pro Team’s Bennyqt that there’s only one good way to climb the ladder.
While winning is a team effort, it’s more of a solitary path for Gold Laners. You farm gold until you have enough to get better items before for farming heroes.
Bennyqt’s top three really hammers home how effective that playstyle is in solo queue.
1. Karrie
“Maganda si Karrie sa solo queue kasi madaling manalo,” said TNC’s Bennyqt rather matter-of-factly. “Madali mo ibuhat ‘yung team mo.”
Karrie has always been arguably the best hyperscaling hypercarry thanks to her Passive. With the ability to shred both tanks and squishies alike, it’s easy to see how she can take over games. Just be sure you know how to play carefully as her. Short range and an even shorter lifebar means she gets punished heavily for even the slightest mistake.
2. Yi Sun-shin
“Siguro kung familiar ka sa playstyle niya, si Yi Sun-shin. Kaya din niya magbuhat,” said TNC’s Bennyqt. “Kasi pag solo queue, madalas kakampi mo lang yung sarili mo.”
Once again, Yi Sun-shin’s versatility really shines here. His ability to play at range and still be effective allows him an incredible amount of flexibility. But as Bennqt said, you have to be familiar with how he plays and maximize his mobility and Passive. Otherwise you’re only playing half a hero.
3. Moskov
“Same siya kay Karrie pero medyo mas-matagal ‘yung power spike niya,” said TNC’s Bennyqt. “Para siyang Karrie at Yi Sun-shin na pinagsama.”
While that does sound enticing, Moskov has always suffered a rather poor early game. Even as a hypercarry, Moskov takes quite a while to get going due to requiring the Holy Trinity of Marksman items. So you better get used to feeling like you’re throwing twigs at enemies early on.
If you can make it through that, then you’ll become a teamfighting monster.
