From debuts to player exclusives, here are some of the freshest sneakers spotted during the first week of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
The NBA Playoffs are officially in full swing, with every first-round series now underway after their respective Game 1 matchups. Same intensity, same atmosphere, same pressure, and as always, part of that energy comes through the sneakers. The postseason has long been a stage where players unveil exclusive pairs, fresh colorways, and special editions made for the biggest moments of the year.
The opening weekend already delivered plenty of heat on the hardwood. As the playoffs continue to build momentum, sneaker rotations across the league are only expected to get stronger. Here’s a short list of some of the freshest pairs from the first week of NBA Playoffs action.
Devin Booker

Devin Booker’s signature line continues to show its versatility through a wide range of colorways, and Book added another standout pair to the rotation in Game 1. Despite Phoenix falling to Oklahoma City, Booker kept it fresh in a Don C colorway of the Book 2, inspired by the Don C x Jordan 2 pair he used to rock at Kentucky.
Jayson Tatum

In Boston’s blowout win over Philadelphia, Tatum dropped 25 points while debuting another clean addition to his signature line. This colorway of the Jordan Tatum 4 takes inspiration from his 1966 Ford Mustang.
Jarrett Allen

Allen is known for sticking to what works as he only rocked the same Kyrie 3 colorway since his rookie season. But in Cleveland’s playoff opener, the Cavs big man switched things up and rocked the “PK80” colorway instead.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

The reigning MVP may have had an off shooting night, but style-wise, Shai never misses. SGA laced up the Converse Shai 001 “Ink” and still finished with 25 points to lead Oklahoma City past Phoenix in Game 1.
Jalen Brunson

Brunson opened the playoffs in elite form, scoring 19 first-quarter points on his way to 28 points and a Game 1 win for New York. On-feet, the Knicks star stayed with his trusted Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE “Jordyn,” a pair dedicated to his daughter.
