It’s going to be all business once they land in France but if given the chance, here’s how they’d spend their time.
Paris, France, awaits Team Liquid and Team Falcons, our two MPL PH representatives competing in the 2026 MLBB Mid Season Cup at the Esports World Cup. These two teams fought hard to reach the international stage, but that’s not all they have to look forward to.
For most of the members of Team Liquid and Team Falcons, this is their first time in Paris. Paris is an iconic city, known and recognized all over the world for its culture and cuisine. Our boys may be there on business, but that doesn’t mean they’re not excited about a trip to the City of Lights.
“Sobrang na motivate kami,” said Team Falcons’ Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo in an interview with the media. “First time din namin makakapunta sa Paris, makikita namin yung Eiffel Tower. Doon namin gagawin yung ginawa namin ni [Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano]!”
“Nakikita ko lang palagi sa mga pelikula yung Paris,” said Team Liquid’s Dave “Teddy” Viaña. “Gusto makita yung Eiffel Tower so sobrang excited talaga!”
It probably should come as no surprise that our players want to see the most famous symbol of France. Even Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno expressed his interest to see the tower. But at least the coaches are a little more adventurous.
“Food, of course,” said Team Liquid’s Coach Allec “SN4P” Alvarado to The GAME when asked what he’s looking forward to on the trip to Paris. As for what he wants to try, he’s still working on that. “No idea, all I know are croissants! But that’s why I’m excited to try the cuisine! ”
“I’ve actually been to Paris before,” said Team Falcons’ Coach Francis “Ducky” Glindro. “So I’m probably going to the river Seine again. It was nice; I want to do the boat ride again. I won’t bother with the Eiffel Tower – lots of scammers there!”
Hopefully Ducky can give that and a few more pieces of advice to the rest of our MPL PH delegates before heading to Paris.
