Fans were partying like it was the early 2000’s in the MPL PH arena last weekend.
The MPL PH Season 17 got a stellar group of guests last week as the SexBomb Girls got back together again to watch the best MLBB players in the world play.
MLBB already kicked off their Summer Break campaign earlier this month with a collaboration with the iconic 2000’s pop group. Players can complete in-game to receive multiple rewards, culminating with the unlocking of the “Get, Get, Aw!” Battle Emote.
To make sure that the energy stays high in the MPL, the SexBomb Girls gave the arena a visit to join in on the summer festivities. Dancers Aira Bermudez, Rochelle Pangilinan, and Mhyca Bautista not only got to see the best MLBB players in the world in action but also got to meet and interact with both young and old fans to truly bridge the gap between generations.
“Sobrang na-excite ako, hindi ako makapaniwala talaga kasi syempre hindi naman namin ine-expect to, said Aira. “Ang sarap lang ng feeling na this is not just a collaboration for MLBB for us. Hindi eh, parang generation to generation.
“Meron tayong generation ng SexBomb but then we have the new generation na naco-connect kami sa kanila. Sobrang thankful kami sa MLBB. Hindi pa huli, there’s no limit sa buhay. Akala namin matatapos na kami sa concerts, may MLBB pa pala.”
The evening concluded with the SexBomb Girls affixing their signature to the MPL PH Wall of Fame. More than just a ceremonial tribute, the MPL PH Wall of Fame highlights excellence across disciplines. Each honoree reflects the shared mindset of champions, to be driven enough to overcome challenges and rise above adversity. They inspire everyone to rise to the occasion and exceed their own limits.
“Hindi talaga kami makapaniwala ng magkakaroon kami ng collaboration with MLBBna nilalaro ng lahat,” said Rochelle. “Ang hiniling lang namin isang reunion concert lang. Hindi namin alam na makikita kami ng MLBB na para idikit niyo pa kami sa inyo. Isang napakalaking event, isang napakaling pagakakataon sa amin ito na mailalagay namin sa legacy namin kasi simple lang ang gusto namin, ang makasama namin ang lahat ng pinalaki ng SexBomb.”
